Posted on October 4, 2016 by carmelodemaria Posted in biomedical courses

A two-weeks intensive Biomedical design class had been held at Addis Ababa Institute of Technogy at Addis Ababa University, in collaboration with University of Pisa, in the second half of October 2016.

Six students, mostly with an electrical enginering background, learned how to design a biomedical device, starting from international standards, and how to rapid prototype their ideas thanks to 3D printers.
