Brief description

The School of Engineering (SENG) started in 2013 when Chepkoilel University College, then a constituent College of Moi University, was chartered and renamed University of Eldoret. It is currently running three engineering programmers namely: Agriculure and Biosystems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Biomedical Undergraduate Program is yet to start. The school is presently working on the undergraduate draft course curriculum and the process is quite advanced. It is being subjected to stakeholder review and thereafter to the faculty. The intention of starting the course is in tandem with the spirit and and understanding of the members which form the African Biomedical Consortium (ABEC).The University will sign a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) with Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH), located in ELDORET CITY, for purposes of collaboration in research and practical. Hopefully,we will launch the course in the academic year starting in September,2017. In the university, we have well equipped and fully operational departments such as Computer science, Physics, Biological Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, mathematics and Medical Sciences. These departments will provide the multidisciplinary knowledge and skills to the Biomedical Engineering Student.
